The opposition party Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) alleged that the police dragged and beat the protesting students by holding their hair. In several videos, the police were shown dragging the students in the van. The students said that they had reached the spot after seeing the bulldozers coming.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the students are being provoked. The land comes under the city’s IT hub. It has no relation with the university. A university official also said that the government is owned by the government since 1974.

BRS bid- girls’ clothes torn Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s party BRS said that in the presence of police, dozens of bulldozers were brought to level the land. During this, the police beat up the protesting students with sticks.

The girls were crying that their clothes were torn, but the police did not listen to them and took him to the police station. About 200 people were arrested.

However, the police said that 53 students obstructing government work have been taken into precautionary custody. Some of them also attacked the police. A case will be registered against them.

Opposition said- not a love shop, the market of betrayal The opposition party BRS targeted the Congress and Rahul Gandhi and said- Congress’s ‘love shop’ has now reached Hyderabad University. Rahul Gandhi has been teaching the constitution in his hand, while his government is working on the contrary. It is a market of betrayal, not a love shop.

At the same time, the students’ union said that we had taken out a peaceful rally. It is our democratic right to protest. The police forcibly detained the students and abused them.
