Vocational teachers are opposing serving through the company and demanding services through the department on the lines of Haryana. Due to this, there is no additional financial burden of even one rupee on the government nor demanding to be regularized. On the contrary, the government will save 8 to 10 crore rupees every year, which is going to the company right now. Vocational teachers are repeatedly giving this argument to the government.

Vocational teachers have gone on strike for 11 days in November last year on this demand. Education Minister Rohit Thakur then assured to fulfill his demand soon. After this, a committee was formed and sent to the model study of other states. Sources reveal that the committee has also recommended to take their services on the lines of Haryana. But the government is not paying attention to this.

Vocational Teacher Association Secretary Neeraj Bansal said, the government is saying that it is the scheme of the Center. So we cannot do anything. This argument is incorrect, because the Haryana government itself has excluded companies itself. Due to this, crores of rupees are being saved there.
The services of Vocational Teacher in Haryana are being taken through the Department of Education. Vocational teachers in Himachal are also seeking the same. He said, we are demanding to take services only through the department, not regular jobs.

Vocational teachers have been on strike since March 29 in the wide ground of Shimla. There are some women who are sitting on strike with young children on their lap. But once in these 11 days, the Education Department did not meet with these teachers.
More than 10 companies registered in Himachal
The government has registered more than 10 companies for various courses in Himachal. Vocational teachers are adamant on excluding them. Due to their strike, children in 1100 government schools of the state are relieving teachers.
Vocational courses to prepare skilled workers
Vocational teachers in government schools have been laid under the scheme of central government to prepare efficient workers in schools. Of these, 90 percent of the budget is given by the Center and 10 percent budget.
