In the Chhoti Kashi Mandi of Himachal Pradesh, a student angry with his father’s scolding jumped into the Beas river. This was the reason of his death. The deceased girl was a student of class 11.

According to the police, Navya Sharma was running the phone at 12 pm on Sunday. When the father saw him, he scolded and said to sleep the next day by talking about the paper. Then the father also withdrew the phone from Navya. Angered by this, Navya ran away from home midnight.

CCTV came to know, Navya went towards the bridge

Navya Sharma’s family started searching with the help of police. CCTV footage showed that she had gone towards Victoria Bridge. A search operation was conducted this morning.

SDRF took out body

State Disaster Management Authority (SDRF) personnel recovered the body of Navya, about one kilometer from the Victoria bridge. The body was then brought for Mandi Hospital postmortem. Later in the afternoon, the body of Navya Sharma was postmortem and handed over to the family members.

Navya was a non -medical student

Navya Sharma was a resident of Gohar in Mandi and she lived in Mandi with her father Rohit Sharma. His father does a government job in Mandi. Navya was a non -medical student. He also has a younger brother, who studies in 5th grade in the village itself.

Police is investigating the case: SP

Confirming the incident, SP Mandi Sakshi Verma said that the postmortem of the body has been handed over to the family members. The police is investigating the case.
