Amidst the heat wave across the country, the Indian Metiorological Department i.e. IMD has issued an orange alert for eight states and yellow alert for some other states. In view of the rising heat, the district administration of some states issued notice to the school administration asking them to change the school timing. The district administration says that the health of the students should not deteriorate between the heat wave.

Class will not run after 12 o’clock in MP

The Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has issued a notice and ordered that no classes will be operated after 12 noon. This order will be applicable to students up to 8th class.

Order of morning classes in Odisha

The Odisha government has ordered schools to run a morning class. Apart from this, the timing of Anganwadi centers has also been changed. All the Anganwadi centers of the state will now run from 7 am to 9 am.

At the same time, all schools in Maharashtra were ordered to be operated from 7 am to 11.15 pm. The Department of Primary and Secondary School Education of Maharashtra said that all schools will have to follow it whether they are going to follow any medium or management. Along with this, the department instructed the schools that all fans should be running in every classroom, there should be a system of cold water for children and they should be encouraged to eat seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Telangana declared summer holidays

The Telangana government has announced a summer holidays between the heat wave between 24 April to 11 June.

At the same time, the time of Delhi schools has not only been changed, but to avoid heat in schools, drinks like mango pan, buttermilk, lemonade are also being served. With this, all out door activities in schools have been discontinued after 10 pm.
