IPL: Fleming admits batting woes after CSK’s third straight defeat
Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming voiced his frustration over the team’s ongoing batting struggles after a 25-run defeat to Delhi Capitals — their third consecutive loss in IPL 2025. “It’s a tough watch,” said Fleming, pointing to CSK’s inability to find the right top-order combination and lack of form among key batters. Despite bringing back Devon Conway and experimenting with other options, CSK failed to chase Delhi’s total of 183. KL Rahul’s composed 77 laid the foundation for DC’s win, while CSK’s top order collapsed early once again. Fleming stressed the need for better execution and more runs from the top four.
