As soon as Holi arrives, the enthusiasm of colors arises in everyone’s mind. TV actors are also sharing their special memories related to this festival.

Shubhangi Atre: Memories of Holi of childhood still fresh
The memories of childhood Holi are still in the heart. Preparations for Holi in our locality started several days ago. The purchase of Gulal and Pitchkars, the rituals of Holika Dahan, the scent of the dishes made by the mother – all this made the festival special. I learned to make Gujhiya and Malpua from my mother and now whenever Holi comes, I try to repeat the same traditional taste.
This time we are celebrating Holi in Dehradun on the film set, but despite being away from the family, I will try to feel the same enthusiasm and familiarity of Holi.

Deepika Singh: Allergy to Holi, but childhood memories special
I do not like to play Holi, but still every year someone gives some color. I like to stay at home more because I get allergic to gulal and water colors. But a special memory of Holi is related to my childhood. My mother used to make fresh khoya’s Malpua every year on Holi. The entire house was filled with the fragrance of ghee and we all used to wait for Malpu to eat eagerly.
The same tradition is still going on in our family. Every year Malpu is made on Holi and the fun of eating them and eating them is different.

Ayesha Singh: Memories of walking on a scooter with Papa
Memories of childhood Holi are very beautiful. Papa used to sit on a scooter and take us to our cousins where the whole family used to celebrate Holi together. Everyone used to put gulal together, music used to play and had a lot of fun. My mother was avoiding colors, so she always hid inside the house on the day of Holi so that no one could color her.
We children used to run in the entire locality and used to color everyone.

Vidisha Srivastava: Colorful memories of Holi of Banaras
On hearing the name of Holi, the mind is filled with colors. For me, this festival is not just playing with colors but is associated with countless memories of childhood which have been spent in the streets of Banaras. Holi of Banaras is filled with its passion, enthusiasm and devotion. The scent of the dishes made by the mother, the Holi of the Ganges Ghats and the atmosphere of Aarti in temples – all of this makes Holi more special.
Now I am busy shooting while staying in Mumbai, but every year I miss Holi of Banaras a lot.

Geetanjali Mishra: Making a dish with mother remembers the most beautiful memory
Holi is not just a festival of colors, but is a chance to strengthen laughter, love and relationships. I love making dishes on Holi day and I got this habit from my mother. Together with him, Gujiya, Malpua, Dahibada and then enjoying it with family, this is my dearest memories of Holi.
During school days, the mischief of playing Holi with friends also miss when we did not leave a friend without dyed. That anecdote still laughs a lot by remembering it.

Krishna Bhardwaj: Learned to make Gujia, but like samosas
Holi and Gujiya are with births. Once I tried to make Gujhiya at home but she became like samosas. Mother still teases me on this.
On the set we often talk about our favorite Holi sweets. For me, the fun of cold with hot dumplings is different. Talking about Pranks, once I added organic color to my friends’ cold. He did not understand for hours as to why his face was not getting off.

Yogesh Tripathi: Unique color of Holi of Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, the fun of Holi of my village was different. There were colors, fun, laughter and sweets all around. At first we used to worship and then used to dance and dance. Especially the Lattmar Holi of Barsana and Holi with flowers of Vrindavan are worth seeing.
This time I am not able to go there, but I will maintain the happiness of Holi by making Gujia at home and fulfilling my traditions.

Rohitashv Gaur: Cold Holi of Shimla and childhood mischiefs
The fun of Holi was different in Shimla. Despite the cold, in the morning we used to prepare a group of children – pitchers in hand, gulal in pocket and list of mischief in mind.
Holi was played with drums and drums throughout the locality. If I get lost in childhood memories, there is still a smile on the face. Even after staying in Mumbai, I try every year to celebrate Holi with the same enthusiasm and fun.

Mishkat Verma: Holi fun from morning to night
Holi is my favorite festival. I like to play with colors and I play Holi from 11 am to 12 o’clock in the night. The most beautiful memory of my Holi is from college days when we used to play Holi with friends on campus, dance on DJs and eat pakoras with cold. Even today, after remembering that day, a smile comes on the face.

Arv Chaudhary: Masti of Jaipur and Holi of Amitabh Bachchan
Holi is a festival of colors and it has been a special day for me since childhood. In Jaipur, we used to start preparations for Holi 10-15 days in advance – preparing water balloons by filling buckets and running a bicycle on the bicycle, it was all very fun. Even now Holi is a festival full of happiness for me.
The most brilliant Holi in Bollywood was at the house of Amitabh Bachchan Sir – filled with color, music, dance and laughter. Now I celebrate at home and enjoy my favorite Gujia, although I am a little saved from the cold, for safety. Holi is a festival of energy, familiarity and colors. We play Holi with organic Gulal so that along with tradition, health is also taken care of.
