Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill was fined for bowling at a slow over in the match against Delhi Capitals. This was his first offense under this rule this season, so he has been fined 12 lakhs.
The official statement from the IPL said, “Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has been fined by his team after maintaining a slow over speed during the match number 35 of IPL 2025 against Delhi Capitals at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. A fine was imposed.

Jose Butler remains the hero of the match
Chasing the target of 204 runs, Jose Butler scored the most runs for Gujarat Titans, scoring an unbeaten 97 runs in 54 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 11 fours. Butler remained 3 runs away from his century, he was adjudged the Player of the Match for this innings. Apart from him, Sherfen Rutherford also scored an important innings of 43 runs in 34 balls. Only Kuldeep Yadav and Mukesh Kumar got 1-1 wickets.
Earlier, Delhi Capitals scored 203 runs in 20 overs. Captain Akshar Patel scored the most 39 runs, in 32 balls, he hit 2 sixes and 1 four in this innings. Karun Nair scored 31, KL Rahul 28, Triston Stabs 31 and Ashutosh Sharma 37 runs. In this match, the hot air harassed the players. When Delhi Capitals were batting, Gujarat bowler Ishant Sharma’s condition had become so bad that he had to go out of the field.
