Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu launched the ‘100 Ratna of Mere City’ program on Saturday. Through this initiative, 6,800 students living in different cities of the state will be provided free coaching for competitive examinations.
Under this program, 100 promising students will be identified from every assembly constitution in Himachal Pradesh. Crack Academy will give free coaching to these students, for which the government will invest Rs 34 crore.
Under this program, the top 100 children of the city will get free coaching. After that 200 children will be given a discount of 75% in fees and 50% in fees to 500 children.
90 new coaching centers will be opened
Announcing this program, the Chief Minister said, ‘This initiative will not only benefit the promising students but will also create new job opportunities for the youth. Crack Academy is going to open 90 new coaching centers in the state, which will directly get about 5,000 people jobs.
The state government will fully support the students of Crack Academy. The education department will conduct examinations to be held in the state, while the question paper will prepare the CRACK Academy for these examinations.
220 students are already getting benefits
Currently about 220 students are getting free coaching. This scheme of free coaching was first launched in the volcanic constituency of Kangra district in which children from 50 schools participated.
Apart from this, Chief Minister Sukku launched a mega -wareness campaign to spread awareness among students and parents.
Uttar Pradesh government is already providing free coaching
Under the Uttar Pradesh Government Mukhyamantri Abhudaya Yojana, free coaching is given to students preparing for competitive examinations like IAS, IPS, PCS, IRS, NEET, JEE. This will benefit those students whose financial condition of the family is not good and they want to prepare for competitive examinations.
This government gives syllabus and question banks to students. Apart from this, offline class is also taken under the Chief Minister Abhyudaya Scheme if needed.
