The Madhya Pradesh Board will also conduct exams twice a year on the lines of CBSE i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education. For this, the state government has also suggested changes in Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education Regulation, 1965.

Its draft has been released for 15 days, so that objections and decorations can be suggested about it. The state government will review all feedback before making final changes.

First exam will be held in February-March

According to the suggested changes of the state government, the board will conduct exams twice for high school and higher secondary students every year. The first and the main exam will be held in February-March and the second will be in July-August.

In the first exam, low marks or failed candidates will be able to improve their results in other exams. Candidates who give the second exam exam will be given provisional admission in the next class till the results come.

Absent students will also be able to give another exam

Students who have failed in the first exam or have failed in one or more papers in the first exam, then they can give another exam.

At the same time, the CBSE board had announced that the rule of conducting exams twice a year would be implemented from 2026. The board has taken this decision watching the children’s exam stress. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that like JEE, children will benefit mentally from the examination 2 times. Once the score is low, he will be able to improve it for the second time.
