Jaishankar said- We saw the Russia-Ukraine struggle, the reason and the situation in a very impartial way. Which was our success. Because of this, people from many aspects associated with this issue have been affected by our assessment.
In fact, on March 19, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor praised the Modi government. Tharoor said- India is in a situation today that can establish peace between Russia and Ukraine.
India has the Prime Minister who can embrace both Volodimir Jailonsky and Vladimir Putin. We are accepted at both places (Russia and Ukraine).
Jaishankar said – India balances with Iran and Israel
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said that India not only took a neutral stand in the Russia-Ukraine war, but also kept its strategic relations balanced with Iran and Israel in the Middle East. When Hamas attacked Israel in 2023, India maintained a diplomatic balance. Israel is the leading defense supplier of India, while India is dependent on Iran for its crude oil needs.
Jaishankar said- Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong diplomatic understanding with global leaders has strengthened India internationally. India is moving towards ‘developed India’ under the ‘India First’ policy.
