Prior to Holi, Delhi University has issued strict warning for students and faculty members. The university has said that a zero-tolerance policy will be adopted for harassment and poor behavior. Discipline action will be taken if there is any kind of misconduct.
Dean-Principal will settle complaints
Action will be taken under the university rules and Sexual Harassment of Woman at Workplace Act, 2013 in case of any molestation, harassment, lewd comments or mischief during Holi. In such cases, Dean and Principal will handle complaints.
On the day of Holi, the university has partnered with the local police and its Internal Security Team to maintain law and order. Special police will roam around the petrol campus and the proctorial team will keep in mind whether the rules are being followed properly or not. Along with this, strictness will also be taken for hostels and hall entries.
The university has shared contact details of campus security and control rooms. With this, students are being aware to complain and report immediately.
