On March 22, the CBI has submitted a closing report in the Sushant Singh Rajput Death case. According to the report, Sushant has not found any evidence such as abetment to suicide. Riya Chakraborty was in custody for 27 days
About one and a half months after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, on 25 July 2020, his father K.K. Singh had lodged a complaint in Patna. In the complaint, he accused Riya Chakraborty of abetting Sushant to suicide. According to the complaint, Sushant had told his sister on a call shortly before his death that Riya publicly publicly threatens him to give him crazy provoks. Sushant told the sister that he feared that Riya would implicate her in the case of former manager Disha Salian’s death. The complaint also claimed that Riya had gone with his medical reports a day before Sushant’s death.
Investigation of this case also found information about money laundering and actors taking drugs. On 7 August 2020, Riya Chakraborty and her brother to Shawik were questioned by the Information Directorate in the money laundering case. At the same time, Riya and her brother were arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau on September 8 in the case of drug case. The basis of the arrest was Riya and toilet’s chat, in which they mentioned buying and supplying drugs. Riya Chakraborty got a bail from the Bombay High Court on 7 October after being in police custody for about 27 days. At the same time, toilet had to stay in jail for 3 months in a drug case.
Riya-Sushant met at Yash Raj Films Studio in 2013
Riya and Sushant first met while shooting Yash Raj Films in 2013. Riya was working in a bank thief at that time and Sushant in pure desi romance. Both of their films were nearby, which made the two friends. In 2019, some pictures of Riya and Sushant’s vacation were revealed in which the location of both was witness to the two. However, the couple never publicized this. In December this year, Riya and Sushant started living in live-in relation, exactly 6 months later, the actor committed suicide.
