2. Foreign Institute will be able to give Academic qualification degree in India, UGC issued new rules

University Grants Commission ie UGC has issued new rules related to foreign degree education. The UGC has named it (Recognition and Grant Authority to Qualification Foreign Educational Institutes) Regulation 2025. According to this, foreign institutes will be able to give Indian students a degree of academic qualification in the country itself.

Why new rules made: The purpose of this rule is to prevent students from going to Foreign University. These regulations will not be applicable in degrees given in subjects related to medical, pharmacy, nursing, law and architects. UGC Chairman M Jagdish Kumar said- this will be a transparent process and the purpose of its rules will be to eliminate delays and disturbances in assessment of foreign degree. Read full news …
