1. Modi demanded the release of fishermen from Sri Lanka, asked to give full rights to Tamils
President Disanayake honoring PM Modi with friend Vibhushan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three -day tour of Sri Lanka. There was a bilateral talks between PM Modi and Sri Lankan President Anuraa Kumara Disanayake here. During this, Modi discussed the arrest of Indian fishermen.
Modi said- This is the issue of livelihood of fishermen: PM said- Traffic on the beach is the issue of livelihood of fishermen. We have talked about releasing fishermen immediately and leaving their boats. We agree that we should move forward with humanity in this matter. On the Tamil issue, Modi said that he is sure that the Sri Lanka government will fulfill the expectations of Tamils.
PM Modi gets Mitra Vibhushan Award: Sri Lankan President Anura Kumar Disanayake presented the Mitra Vibhushan Award to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 2. Foreign Institute will be able to give Academic qualification degree in India, UGC issued new rules
University Grants Commission ie UGC has issued new rules related to foreign degree education. The UGC has named it (Recognition and Grant Authority to Qualification Foreign Educational Institutes) Regulation 2025. According to this, foreign institutes will be able to give Indian students a degree of academic qualification in the country itself.
Why new rules made: The purpose of this rule is to prevent students from going to Foreign University. These regulations will not be applicable in degrees given in subjects related to medical, pharmacy, nursing, law and architects. UGC Chairman M Jagdish Kumar said- this will be a transparent process and the purpose of its rules will be to eliminate delays and disturbances in assessment of foreign degree. Read full news …
3. Justice Yashwant Verma took oath in Allahabad High Court: Was transferred from Delhi, notes were found from home
Judge Yashwant Verma, who was transferred from the Delhi High Court, was sworn in in the Allahabad High Court. He was sworn in at the Chief Justice’s Chamber. Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 50 runs in the 18th match of IPL-2025. The team has won the second consecutive match, while Punjab lost for the first time this season.
