One of the Job Portal Found-It Sarm was revealed that 47% of the employees working in India are not happy with their salary hike. Along with this, these people complained that their expectations on salary were broken and very low hikes were given.
In this survey, 25% of the people admitted that they too do not get the salary hike but they do not seem any big problem.
Companies have to work to give better salary
Companies who came up in the survey will have to work on skill development, career development and better salary. If companies want to keep their employees happy then they have to change their pay strategy.
Along with this, there is a lot of difference in the sense of satisfaction about salary between professions. However, people from most professions believe that looking at their salary hike, it seems that companies do not have their values.
14% people do not know how many salary they should get
46% of people believe that their salary is better than industry standard. Only 40% of people feel that their salary is low. 14% of people do not know about their industry’s salary benchmark.
However, as the experience increases, people increase awareness about their salary and after that the feeling of dissatisfaction goes down.

Most people in India expect minimal salary hike
35% (most) employees in India expect 0-10% (lowest) salary hike. 29% people expect 11-20% salary hike and 14% people expect 21-30% hike. 22% of people expect 30%+ salary hike. Most of them are freshers or junior level employees.
