On Friday, China, giving a befitting reply to Trump’s tariff, was announced to impose an additional fee on US products. According to government news agency Xinhua, these fees will be applicable from April 10. China has also filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding the imposition of ‘counter -duty’ on trade partners on behalf of the US.

Products of 16 American companies levied

The Ministry of Commerce said that China has also decided to ban the export of dual -use items to 16 American companies. After the announcement of Donald Trump’s tariff, the total fee on China’s goods on entering the US increased to 54 percent. In his election campaign, Trump had asked to impose 60 percent tariffs on China, this figure is almost close to it.
