On Sunday, the CBSE board issued a notice on its social media accounts and warned against the fake notifications being circulated. The board said that no information or date has been released regarding the results of 10th and 12th.
CBSE has tweeted this on social media platform X.
Fake notice was issued on 2 May
The board wrote on the social media platform x, ‘A letter deleted on May 2 is circulating on a social media. This letter is fake and CBSE has not released it. No official information has been released at present about the results of 2025 of 10th and 12th.

Claim of 10th result in fake letter
The fake letter claimed that the 10th board result of Academic Year 2024-25 will be released at 11 am on 6 May 2025. Along with this, it is written in the letter that the candidates can check their results by visiting the CBSE result portal of the official website of CBSE. To check the result, the candidates should have an admit card number, roll number and school number written on Aadhaar card.
42 lakh students of CBSE Board gave exams
This year, about 42 lakh students gave CBSE board exams. Of these, 24.12 lakhs gave the 10th exam and 17.88 lakh gave 12th exam.
Every year CBSE releases 10th and 12th results in mid -May. The result was released on 13 May last year and before that i.e. in 2023, the result was released on 12 May. On this basis, it is estimated that this year also the CBSE board will release the results around these dates.
