In the Sushant Singh Rajput Death case, CBI has filed a final closure report after 4 years 6 months and 15 days. In which the investigating agency has said that no evidence has been found to incite Sushant for suicide.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found to be mysteriously dead at his home in Bandra on 14 June 2020. The investigation into the matter was handed over to the CBI due to the pressure of media and opposition parties. Now in the last report of the CBI, suicide has been described as the real cause of death.
Riya Chakraborty had to stay in jail for 27 days in this case. After the final report came out by the CBI, Riya’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde issued a statement saying that many false stories were made in this case. Despite this, Riya and her family kept silent and endured everyone.

- Sushant’s father KK Singh’s complaint against Riya Chakraborty, in which allegations of abetment, fraud and money manipulation were made for suicide.
- Complaint of Riya Chakraborty, in which he accused Sushant’s family of mental harassment.

Manager Disha Salian also died A few days before Sushant’s death, on 8 June 2020, his manager Disha Salian died due to falling from the 14th floor of the building in Malad, Mumbai. Both these deaths were considered suspicious. After this, father Satish Salian alleged that Disha was murdered after a gang rape. But the case was suppressed under political pressure.
Initially, Disha’s father had confidence in the Mumbai Police’s investigation, but later felt that it was only a ‘cover-up’ operation. After this, on 20 March 2025, Satish Salian filed a petition in the Bombay High Court regarding a fresh investigation into the daughter’s death. He has demanded to register an FIR against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray and hand over the case to CBI.
