Film director Farah Khan was accused of hurting religious sentiments. Farah described Holi as a festival of ‘Chapar’ in his popular show ‘Celebrity MasterShef’. After this, on 20 February, a criminal complaint was lodged at Khar police station by Influencer Vikas Pathak, popularly known as Hindustani Bhau.
Bombay High Court reached Farah’s case of hurting religious sentiments
Advocate Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh, a lawyer of Vikas Pathak alias Hindustani Bhau, says that the case has been filed for more than a month, but so far no reply has been received from the police. For this reason, he has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court.
He said that by filing writ petitions, the police has been demanded to register an FIR and record statements.

Police did not take any action- Advocate Kashif
Advocate Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh, citing Lalita Kumari Judgment, said that action will also be taken against the police. A judge of Lalita Kumari states that if the matter is clearly made, it is mandatory to register an FIR. But till now no action has been taken on it. For this reason, we have filed a petition in the court.

Advocate asked the police to ask for answers
Advocate Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh while talking to Dainik Bhaskar said, ‘We do not apologize to Farah Khan or anyone. Our only demand is that the FIR should be lodged. When the court registers this petition, the police will also be sought an answer as to why the action has not been taken so far?

Actually, the entire controversy began with an episode of the show ‘Celebrate MasterShef’. Farah is the judge of this show. In an episode of the show, he commented on Holi. He said that Holi is the favorite festival of all the Chhapari boys. This video of Farah went viral on social media, after which he was also severely criticized. Some people were demanding to apologize to him, while some demand to take action on them. Some users had demanded action by tagging even the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis.
