The train carrying BSF jawans in the commander district of Manipur fell into the ditch. 3 soldiers died in the accident, while 13 were seriously injured. The accident occurred at 4 pm near Changobang village on Imphal-Dimapur National Highway. According to sources, the car carrying the soldiers was overloaded.
All the soldiers belong to the same battalion and are posted in Jhadima in Nagaland. He was deployed in the state after the situation deteriorated in Manipur. According to sources, the soldiers were returning to their base camp at IIIT, Mayangkhang after their QRT duty.
