The death toll at Iran’s monkey Abbas Port on Saturday exploded to 40, while more than 1200 people were injured. The explosion took place at the Sina container yard of Shahid Rajai Port just outside the monkey Abbas port. Transport containers are kept here, including oil and other petrochemical facility.
Initial investigation revealed that the accident occurred due to negligence in storage of flammable substances at the scene. Iran does not get the necessary equipment due to international sanctions, due to which industrial accidents often occur here. The port is 1000 km from Irani’s capital Tehran.

Demonstration against Pahalgam attack in Finland, students and IT professionals expressed peaceful protest
IT professionals and students today staged a peaceful protest at the Sent Square in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The demonstration was held in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in protest against the ruthless killing of 26 innocent people.
The protesters demonstrated against terrorism through banners and placards and paid tribute to the dead. He appealed to the international community to take cognizance of the incident and take tough steps against terrorism globally.
During the performance, all the participants expressed condolences to the dead by keeping two minutes of silence. The event was attended by IT professionals working in Finland, Indian students from different universities and members of the overseas Indian community.
