BJP will get the new national president this month. The election process has accelerated after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Nagpur. According to sources, the name of the new president was discussed in the meeting of Modi and Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on 30 March.

After Modi returning from Nagpur, there has also been a conversation with senior party leaders. The Prime Minister discussed the organizational election of the states with the current president JP Nadda, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Organization General Secretary BL Santosh.

According to sources, the Prime Minister has asked Nadda and BL Santosh to complete the election of BJP President this month. The BJP has so far elected state presidents in 13 states. It is necessary to complete elections in 19 states for the election of the national president.

According to sources, by next week, the names of the state presidents of most of the remaining states including Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal will be announced. That is, after the completion of the elections of 50 percent states, the national president can be selected.

At present, Union Minister JP Nadda is the president of the party JP Nadda was made the Executive Chairman in 2019 and became the national president of the BJP in January 2020. Keeping the Lok Sabha elections in mind, his term was extended till June 2024. Now that he has become a Union Minister, the party has to choose the new president.
