In Sambhal, BJP leader Gulfam Singh Yadav was murdered with poisonous injections. The incident was carried out by 3 youths who came by bike. After injection, Gulfam Singh started suffering. He was then taken to CHC. Aligarh was referred when the condition became critical, but he died on the way.
The case is of Dabathara Himachal, village of Junavai area of Tehsil Gunnore. After the murder, the police is looking for the three youths riding the bike. Gulfam Singh Yadav (65) contested from Gunnore against Mulayam Singh Yadav in the 2004 assembly by -election.

People gathered around Gulfam Singh’s screaming. After this, he first took him to the Community Health Center (CHC) for treatment. Where he was referred to Aligarh on the condition. However, he died on the way.
After receiving information about the death of the BJP leader, his supporters have started reaching the village. At the same time, family members also have a bad condition. A heavy police force is present on the spot. SP Krishna Vishnoi is also on the spot. People are being questioned.

The by -elections were held in this assembly seat in 2004. Then SP’s strongman Shafiqur Rahman Burke, while keeping an ethnic equation, appealed to Mulayam Singh Yadav to contest from here. He was in front of Gulfam Singh Yadav of BJP and Arif Ali of BSP. In the by -election, Mulayam Singh Yadav got a total of 91.77% i.e. 1 lakh 95 thousand 213 votes. Gulfam Singh Yadav got only 6 thousand 941 votes. At number two was Arif Ali of BSP, who got 11 thousand 314 votes.
