Womens kabaddi world cup bihar rajgir: The city of Rajgir of Bihar is becoming the new ‘sports hub’ of India. Last year, this city successfully organized the Women’s Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. Now the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup is going to be held in Rajgir, which will be played from 1-10 June. An agreement has been signed between the Amateur Kabaddi Federation and the Bihar Sports State Authority for organizing this World Cup tournament. During this, India’s women’s kabaddi team captain Sonali Vishnu and vice -captain Pushpa Rana were also present.
This World Cup tournament will be played at the State Sports Academy in Rajgir, in which a total of 14 teams will participate. There are 14 teams to contest the World Cup, India, Iran, Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, the Netherlands, Japan, Poland, Argentina, Hungary, Germany, Kenya and Uganda. Explain that this agreement was signed by Jeetendra Pran Singh Thakur, Secretary, Amateur Kabaddi Federation and Ravindran Shankaran, CEO of Bihar Sports State Authority.
Tickets will be available for free
Ravindran Shankaran expressed enthusiasm that it is an honor for Bihar to be organized in Rajgir. He also told that all the viewers will be able to enjoy live matches by sitting in the field for free. However, registration of tickets will have to be done online. For those who will not be able to register for the ticket, a large screen will be arranged outside the field.
Tejashwi Singh Gehlot, director of the International Kabaddi Federation, appreciated the growing height of Bihar in the field of sports. He hoped that the people of Bihar would show a lot of support towards the game of kabaddi. He said, “Bihar’s kabaddi team is performing brilliantly at the junior level and training is also going well. It is expected that the team will perform well at the senior level.”
