Applications for teachers and their families will be taken through a new portal where disposal of applications will be ensured within the time limit. Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar also informed that there is a need to increase the funds of the assistance given for teachers suffering from serious diseases and their dependents. For this, a cooperation amount will be taken from teachers on Teachers’ Day, which will be implemented after talks with teacher organizations.
