The accused of wrongly touching two girls in Bengaluru was arrested from Kerala. For this, the police searched footage of about 700 CCTV cameras from three states. Then he was caught in a remote village in Kerala.
Girls were molested on 3 April in the city’s BTM layout area. Its CCTV video was also revealed. In the video, a person is seen chasing girls.
When girls try to avoid him, he suddenly starts touching one of them. He then runs away from the spot. However, the girls could not be identified then.
Police said that when the search for the accused was started, he fled from Bangalore to Hosur in Tamil Nadu. He then fled to Salem and then Kozhikode in Kerala.
He was caught from Narvnur in Kozhikode after searching in all three states for about a week. The accused has been identified as Santosh (26 years). He works as a driver in a Jaguar showroom in Bangalore.
