An attempt was made to rape a young woman in a moving train. The girl jumped from the moving train to save herself. After which she was injured. The victim is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The incident took place on the evening of 22 March near Kompalli at around 8:15 pm. When the girl was traveling alone in the female coach of the MMTS train going from Secunderabad railway station in Hyderabad to Medchal.
The woman told the police that two female passengers traveling in the coach got off the train at Alwal railway station. After that I was the only passenger in the coach.
Then a 25 -year -old unidentified person came to me and started doing dirty acts. On refusing, he tried to force. To protect myself, I jumped from the moving train.
According to the GRP police, there were marks of bleeding on the woman’s head, chin, right hand and waist and later some passers -by admitted her to a government hospital.

A 36 -year -old pregnant woman was pushed out of the ongoing train on 6 February 2025 near Katapdi in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu. After which she was seriously injured.
