Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav posted a post on social media late Wednesday evening while welcoming Allen Musk’s Starlink in India. But after an hour deleted it. In the post, he wrote, ‘Welcome to India, Starlink! This will be useful for remote railway projects.
Let us know that two big telecom companies of India Airtel and Jio have signed a deal with Starlink to provide satellite internet services. However, these agreements are yet to be approved by the government. Airtel announced on Tuesday that it will deliver high-speed internet to rural areas, schools and health centers in India along with SpaceX.
