The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab Sanjeev Arora a candidate for the by -election in Ludhiana West Assembly seat. The party gave this information on Wednesday.

Congress and BJP claim that AAP will now send Arvind Kejriwal to Rajya Sabha in place of Sanjeev Arora. Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira said that Kejriwal has signed a deal with MP Arora to give a place in the cabinet. This conspiracy shows that Kejriwal cannot live without power even for a day.
BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya also questioned the candidature of Sanjeev Arora. He asked- Is the purpose of this step clear the way for Arvind Kejriwal from Punjab to Rajya Sabha. Would it not be better that someone from Punjab represents the state instead of Kejriwal.
The claims of Congress and BJP have been rejected by AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar. Priyanka said- Arvind Kejriwal is neither becoming CM of Punjab nor is going to Rajya Sabha. Both things are absolutely wrong.

Why can Rajya Sabha go to Kejriwal and Sisodia?
Kejriwal only party convenor, Atishi’s responsibility for Delhi Arvind Kejriwal is the biggest face of AAP. After losing elections in Delhi, he is now only the convenor of the party.
