1. Center government approved military procurement of 54 thousand crores
India has taken two major decisions on Thursday 20 March to increase the defense capacity of the army. In this, the central government has approved the purchase of 307 advance cannon (ATAGS) at a cost of ₹ 7,000 crore, which will be deployed on the Pakistan and China border.
Also, the Ministry of Defense cleared military purchase of ₹ 54,000 crore. This includes the Airborn Early Warning System, the new engine of T-90 tanks and the Varunastra Torpedo for the Navy.
These advanced cannon (ATAGS) will be deployed on Pakistan and China border.
2. American President Donald Trump ordered the education department to close
US President Donald Trump on Thursday 20 March signed an order related to the closure of the Education Department (Executive Order). After signing Trump, Trump said that America has not been imparting good education to students for a long time.
According to White House data, the department has failed to improve education despite huge expenditure in the last 40 years. Since 1979, the US Education Department has spent more than $ 3 trillion (about 259 lakh crore rupees). From now on, the education department will not have the right to this, but the states and local communities will get the responsibility.
After signing, Trump said that the education department is not a bank.

1. Application started from today for recruitment to 53,749 posts in Rajasthan
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has released the revised notification of class IV Recruitment 2024. Under this, 53,749 posts will be recruited. However, earlier 52,453 posts were to be filled for this recruitment.
Of these, 48,199 posts are reserved for non-TSP and 5,550 posts for TSP areas. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. Applications for this recruitment are starting today i.e. March 21.

Recruitment for 400 posts of apprenticeship has been done in Bank of India. The last date of application for this recruitment has been extended. 1. Bihar Public Service Commission released 2025 exam calendar
BPSC i.e. Bihar Public Service Commission has released 2025 examination calendar. Candidates can see and download the exam calendar from the commission’s official X handle. However, the dates issued by the Commission are tental. The schedule consists of several positions like Integrated CCE 70th, Assistant Professor (Physics), Assistant Curator/Research and Publication Officer.
The BPSC Prelims Examinations for Integrated CCE 70th were held on 13 December 2024 and 4 January 2025, whose results were declared on January 23, 2025. Now the Integrated CCE 70th Mans exam will be between 25-30 April. The examination of Assistant Section Officer will be held on 13 July 2025. The Commission has not announced the date for many posts yet. Dates will be released soon. The Commission has advised the candidates to keep checking the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
2. Government of Karnataka will start sex education in school from 8th to 12th
The Government of Karnataka is going to start sex education for students from 8th to 12th class.
School Education and Literacy Minister Madhu Bangarappa said- The objective of this initiative is to provide education related to physical, emotional and hormonal changes during the teen age.
These programs will do medical professionals twice a week and will include medical checkups and consultant sessions from time to time twice a year. In this, medical center will tell students about the dangers of hygiene and drug abuse.
Apart from sex education, the government is planning to start cyber hygiene classes to deal with digital addiction, premature sex activity and pregnancy concerns at an early age.
