Anurag Kashyap has now publicly apologized for making derogatory remarks on Brahmins in social media debate. He has also assured that he will never say such words in future. In fact, recently he had said a very derogatory thing on Brahmins, after which complaints were filed against him in many places including Delhi, Mumbai, Indore and Jaipur. Amidst controversies, Pandit Suresh of Chanakya Sena had also announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh to Anurag Kashyap’s face.
Anurag Kashyap, apologizing to his statement, wrote on Instagram-
I forgot my dignity in answering one in anger and said badly to the entire Brahmin society. The society whose people have been in my life, are still today and do a lot of contribution. Today they are all hurt by me. My family is hurt by me. Many intellectuals, whom I respect, is hurt by my anger, my way of speaking. I stunned my own talk by talking like this. I wholeheartedly apologize to this society, which I did not want to say. But in the charge, he wrote while responding to someone’s inferior remarks. I apologize, for all those associate friends, from their family and from that society, for the way of speaking, for abusive language. Now do not happen from now on, I will work on it. I will work on my anger. And if you want to talk about the issue, I will use the right words. Hope you forgive me.
How did the controversy start?
In fact, Prateek Gandhi and Patralekha starrer film Phule was to be released on April 11. The film is based on the lives of social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule. Since the trailer release, the film was facing allegations of casteism, after which the censor board also suggested to make several changes in the film.
Anurag Kashyap had nothing to do with this matter directly, although seeing the attitude of the censor board, he started taking his opinion on the issue on social media. He shared a post on the issue of film Phule and casteism 5 days ago.
On this post of Anurag Kashyap, a person commented, Brahmins are your father. The more you solve from them, the more you will be solved. Anurag Kashyap also replied on this comment. The language of Anurag’s reply was such that cannot be written on Dainik Bhaskar.
The screenshot of Anurag Kashyap’s comment went viral on social media and the Brahmin society started criticizing him. Complaints were lodged against him in several cities and effigies were burnt in protest. Anurag did not stop here either. He shared a screenshot of his comment and made such statements which did ghee work in the fire.
On Monday, the students of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University performed the effigy of Anurag Kashyap and protested.

Brahmin organization announced a reward for the blacketer
Complaints have been filed in many cities due to controversial statement on Anurag Kashyap. Recently, many Hindu organizations had a meeting on the issue. The meeting was chaired by Pandit Suresh Mishra of Chanakya Sena. He has said that the person making such remarks on Brahmins will be embarrassed in a society filled, so that it becomes an example. At the same time, he told the media that whichever person will blacken the face of Anurag Kashyap, he will give him a reward of 1 lakh rupees.
