The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the appointment of a new Vice Chancellor for nine major state universities. These include many famous universities. Let’s know which professor has been given the responsibility of the university.

Rajasekhar’s appointment is being considered an essential step towards improving the administrative and education structure of Andhra University. The government’s commitment to the university is clearly visible from the fact that for the first time in the history of Andhra University, Vice Chancellor has been appointed from another institute.

How was a career?
Pro. Rajasekhar started his education in Visakhapatnam and after that he received MSc, MPhil and PhD degrees from the University of Hyderabad. He started his career as a guest teacher at Hyderabad University in 1997 and took charge as an assistant professor in IIT-Kharagpur in 2002. He was promoted as a professor in 2011 and is currently working as a HAG scale professor.
