Air India has dismissed a simulator trainer pilot on Wednesday. 10 pilots taking his under training have also been removed from duty.
Air India took this decision after a complaint of a whistleblower. He had alleged that the simulator trainer pilot had not trained the pilots properly.
Air India said, the allegations of whistleblower were investigated. The allegations were found to be correct in this. For this reason, the services of trainer pilot were abolished.
Air India has also informed DGCA about the entire incident. The company appreciated the whistleblower and said that Air India has adopted High Ethic Standard for its employees after the acquisition of the Tata Group.
In 2024, more than 30 employees have been fired so far due to negligence and tampering of standards.
