He must have taken these rights from Muralikant Petkar ji. Muralikant Sir himself also mentioned this in one of his interviews.

The actor further said, ‘I once met Sushant at the airport, then he told me that he is going to make a film on a Paralympic swimmer. Both of us loved acting and we often talked about it. We also talked about this film. However, then this film was thought out from my mind. But when the film was released, I saw the interview of Muralikant Sir, in which he told that this film was going to do Sushant earlier.

Bhuvan further said, ‘But you see that during that time I was not part of the film. But later I became a part of the film and Sushant was not. Life brings you from anywhere and bring you where you have to reach. ‘
