The police operation started at 12 pm on Saturday and lasted till 6 am. 457 people have been detained in Ahmedabad and about 100 in Surat. The police took out a parade of the people in custody and reached the headquarters on foot.

Currently, everyone’s documents are under investigation. Indian Aadhaar cards have also been found from some people. The police have also seized everyone’s phones. It is being questioned right now. If valid documents are not found, the government will send everyone to their country.
