Aamir Khan is also in discussion about his acting as well as personal life. In an event recently, Aamir talked about his relationship with ex -wife Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. He said that even though he is divorced. But even today, their affection for both did not diminish.
In India Today Conclave 2025, Khan finally said, ‘Reena and I stayed together for 16 years. We ran away and married. The two most important relationships in my life were with Reena and Kiran. Both of them are amazing women, with whom I have spent my life. Both of them have given me a lot in my life.
Aamir said, ‘Divorce does not mean that we do not have respect and love for each other. Perhaps we have changed our relationship, but I respect Kiran and Reena and their families the most. I am very close to the families of both of them. ‘
Aamir-Reena was separated after 16 years of marriage
Aamir Khan first married Reena Dutta at the age of 21. Reena was 19 years old at that time. Aamir and Reena had hidden their marriage from the family for several days. When Aamir was shooting for ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, he married Reena. But about a year ago, the affair of both started.
However, Aamir was then 20 years old and Reena 18. So he had to wait for the wedding until Aamir was adult. Apart from this, their marriage seemed impossible due to differences between the two families. But as soon as Aamir turned 21, he reached the court with Reena and both went to their respective homes after getting registered.
For several days, he hid the matter of marriage from family members. But one day Reena’s sister got suspicious and threatened to tell him the father. Then Reena went to Aamir’s house and the couple told their parents about the wedding. The wedding lasted for about 16 years. He was divorced in 2002. The couple have two children (son Junaid and daughter Ira), after which Aamir married Kiran Rao in 2005. But in 2021, both of them also separated from divorce.
