How to find the most flattering midi dress for you
There’s no hard and fast rules when it comes to fashion and I’d never tell anyone what to wear as it’s so personal and different for everyone. I’m just here to make suggestions for the most flattering looks and to help you feel your best. Cliché as it is, the pageant girl in me wants you to feel “confidently beautiful”. Long sleeve knee length dresses and midi’s of any length are the most flattering on my tall ladies.
However, if you’re petite and/or muscular like me, either short or long with my hems are the most flattering. When it comes to midi dresses, look for style that are cut just below your knee or below your calf, rather than stopping mid calf.

Long sleeve midi dresses often get a bag rap and stereotyped, especially when a more mature woman asks for one. They often get suggested matronly styles they don’t want to wear and wouldn’t feel good about wearing. Just because we’ve reached a certain age doesn’t mean we suddenly want to stop feeling feminine and sexy. If anything, I want to feel more so!
I don’t know who needs to hear this but don’t let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn’t wear or settle for less. Ask for more!
